Korres Wild Rose Oil was a product which I saw when I was trying to make my first routine based on Asian Beauty routines. It was like a dream - a nice bottle with rose petals inside, I never dreamed that one day it'll be mine. I've started 3rd bottle now, it's also over a year since I've started to use it.

Couple words about brand
Korres is a brand from sunny Grece, it was founded in 1996 by pharmacist Georgios Korres - you have to know that this brand is based on tradition and natural ingredients. The Wild Rose Oil was released in 2016 to celebrate the 20 years of the brand and it's one of the brand's best sellers.

Packaging
The white box with red elements is hiding a bottle with a pipette and rose petals in it. I have to admit it looks very luxurious.

Unfortunately, it might be comedogenic. Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil - a delicate emollient, it makes skin soft and nourished. Squalane - one of the most important elements of sebum, thanks to this ingredient our skin stays soft. But what does this ingredient do in skincare products? Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil - a source of Vitamin E and carotene. A natural oil and oily emollient, it protects skin from dehydration. Ginger extract has antibacterial properties that are why it can help with acne-prone skin, psoriasis and folliculitis.

Smell & Texture
The scent is great - it's not a fake rose smell, it's a very delicate and natural scent. The texture is oily with some little pieces of rose petals. Even if it's oil you don't have to worry that your skin will get oily - it's a very moisturising product but it won't make your skin full of sebum.

How does it work for me?
I'm using this product for over a year and if my grandmother  (or babushka as some people say) said that my skin looks better than even before after using it then it's the best recommendation. Previous summer I was all about this oil, I didn't need to use anything else besides cleansing and this oil. It might not be super effective if it comes to pigmentation because removing pigmentation is obviously not that easy and you have to use various products and curation to remove them but it makes your skin brighter - I feel like it helped me with redness and dullness. I've tried pure rose oil before and it didn't really work for me - it was too sticky and the smell wasn't nice that's why I'm still using this oil - the formula is lightweight but still powerful. I always do a bit of face massage while applying it. The scent is really pure, it's not a fake rose scent but you can really smell nature in it. The product should be used within 6 months of the first use, personally, I use it even longer - for about 1 month, it's hard for me to use all 30 ml in only 6 months, but I always try to check if the smell and colour is ok, if it's not then I do not use it anymore. The pipette is such a great idea in this product - it makes the application process easier, all you need is couple drops to give your face enough formula to make it brighter. Is this formula really an anti-ageing formula? I won't answer this question but for sure rose oil has this kind of properties as well as it works for skin brightening because roses are a source of Vitamin C. I know that Korres has also black pine face oil and I think that this one is an anti-ageing oil but the smell is more intensive in my opinion. My skin after using this product is soft and well moisturised.
