It's been a long time since the last post from this series - because you have to wait for the 4th part I've decided to show you more ingredients this time and end this series, but don't be scared - I've got something new planned. This time we're going to talk about ingredients such as propolis, rice, snail mucin, soybean and syn-ake.
PEARL - NUTRITION & BRIGHTENING
Diamonds might be the girl's best friends but still, pearls have bigger significance in beauty. It's not a new "beauty ingredient" - they were known in ancient times. Pearls can help with various skin problems such as acne scars and wrinkles but they are mostly known for their nutritious properties.
TRY: My Beauty Diary Pearl Powder Mask
PEPTIDE - WRINKLES
I don't want to scare you with some science-talk (yet) all you need to know is that peptides help with collagen production. You can use them no matter if you're 20 or 50.
TRY: Mizon Peptide 500

TRY: Tonymoly The Fresh Phytoncide Pore Gel Cream
PIG COLLAGEN - SKIN ELASTICITY & MOISTURE
I also want to throw out when I hear about this ingredient. For sure it's not a vegan or vegetarian-friendly ingredients. It looks like a weird jelly and it is told that this one helps with skin elasticity. It's also a good moisturiser.
TRY: Holika Holika Pig-Collagen Jelly Pack
PLACENTA - SKIN ELASTICITY & SCARS
I'm not a placenta expert but I've heard that there are different types of placenta - the animal ones and the plant ones. It is told that placenta can help with increasing skin elasticity and scars.
TRY: Mizon Placenta 45 Ampoule

The science and beauty industry is more interesting than you think - now even stem cells are used in beauty. It's a natural ingredient and it can help with skin regenerating and wrinkles, but it might also increase UV protection.
TRY: Skin&Lab Korean Skin Care Anti Aging Vitamin C Night Cream

FITONCYDAMI MUSZĘ SIĘ KONIECZNIE ZAINTERESOWAĆ :) SUPER POST! <3
ReplyDeleteBardzo ciekawy post !
ReplyDeleteSo many amazing ingredients!

ReplyDeleteUwielbiam wszelkiego rodzaju olejki! Uważam, że to najlepsze naturalne kosmetyki do pielęgnacji!
ReplyDeleteBardzo interesujący post :-) Widziałam wideo z ogórkiem morskim, to jest obrzydliwe stworzonko...

ReplyDeleteNiedawno kupiłam pierwsze kosmetyki ze śluzem ślimaka a zainteresowała mnie woda gazowana ;D
ReplyDeleteGood thing that I'm not a vegetarian or vegan anymore ( I used to be but I'm not anymore) hence I can try all of these:). I think that every country and culture has their own 'beauty tricks'. For example, where I'm from (Dalmatia in Croatia) women often used olive oil for all kinds of things. My grandmother even made soap from olive oil! Furthermore, charcoal was used to whiten teeth. There is another plant that is used for that but I'm not sure what is it called in English. In other regions or here in BIH where I live now, other things are used. I've actually heard stories of women who bathe in milk. In some regions of Croatia, pig fat is used as remedy for almost anything. As I said, where I'm from, we make all sorts of things from olive oil (also lavender) but it depends on the region. So, basically people always make use of things around them.
ReplyDeleteMany of these ingredients interest me! It makes sense that pearls are used in skin care. I'm open to trying just about anything but I can imagine using skin collagen masks. I'm not a vegetarian anymore but still I don't like the idea- even if I'm sure it must be useful. Great article btw! This was a very detailed and useful list of ingredients often found in Korean skincare. Asian beauty brands are branching into international brands. I'm always hearing great things about them so I'm happy to know more and learn some of their secrets:).
Croatian skincare traditions reminds me a lot of Italian ones, for sure I'll focus more on european culture of beauty too :) I'm trying to change my diet but it's pretty hard with several food allergies but it's good to be aware of the ingredients and cruelty in beauty industry.
Deletenice post , very informative. Thanks for sharing
