Collaborations and limited editions are like the holy grail for every makeup or skincare lover. It happens that I'm giving a chance to a brand which for me don't work in one "segment" of skincare or makeup but I'll still get this one product because of the design. This time I gave a chance to Missha and their Original Tension Pact Perfect Cover Cushion Frida Kahlo Edition.

Before we start - why I don't like Missha's makeup products?
If you are with my for a longer time then you know that I really liked jojoba oil from Missha. Unfortunately, my experience with their makeup range is not as good as with skincare - I've tried on of the bb creams and the colour, coverage and durability were pretty bad. I'm a very pale person with neutral undertone - I've ended up like a person with jaundice - my skin was literally yellow.

Couple words about brand
Missha is a South Korean makeup and skincare brand. This brand belongs to a company called Able C&C Co (the same company is a parent of a brand called A'pieu). Missha is quite a young brand, it was created in the year 2000 and now you can spot Missha's shops around the world. I think that Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence and Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream are two of most famous products from this brand.

Packaging
Let's be honest I bought this cushion because of the design. I really like all the details - this edition was inspired by Frida Kahlo, a very famous woman and a painter from Mexico. If you know her art and history you can spot some relations between the design and her art, for example, the deer with arrows on the cushion remind a lot of Frida's painting called The Wounded Deer. The rose gold details fits the whole design. The puff is also interesting, I was so careful with it because it looks so nice.

Skin Type
This type is better for oily and combination skin, there are 3 other types of different designs from this series related to different skin types and skin problems.

Ingredients
Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Butylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Lauryl PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Methyl Hydrogenated Rosinate, Glycerin, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Cetearyl Alcohol, Isododecane, Niacinamide, Cyclohexasiloxane, Sodium Chloride, Disteardimonium Hectorite, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Talc, Alcohol Denat, Silica, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Mica, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Xylitol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Aluminum Hydroxide, Stearic Acid, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Triethyl Citrate, Caprylyl Dimethicone Ethoxy Glucoside, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydroxyacetophenone, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Menthoxypropanediol, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Adenosine, Lecithin, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Isostearic Acid, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Zinc Gluconate, Alcohol, Tocopherol, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, Fragrance

Believe me or not but I hate ingredients in makeup products - I can always find something there. That's why I'm trying to keep it as short as I can. This time I'll start with all the bad stuff we can find here - this product has 5 very weak ingredients: Lauryl PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol and Fragrance.
Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide are mineral sunscreens and that's good. If your skin is comedogenic then Glycerin and Stearic Acid are not a good choice for you, some people might react to Jojoba Seed Oil as well. Niacinamide is a skin brightener and Adenosine is an anti-ageing ingredient.

Smell & Texture
The smell is very intensive in comparison to April Skin or Klairs cushions but you can easily survive it - it'll disappear after couple minutes. What I hate about this product is very creamy texture - it's a very heavy texture and even if I like to keep my skin as flawless as it can be, I just can't accept too heavy foundation - if you haven't seen it yet, this Clio Kill Cover Airwear foundation shows all my feelings about this product, that's how I feel when I put it on my skin.

How does it work for me
I must admit that colour of the cushion - no 13 (the lightest one) and the design are good and that's all. That's the only positive thing about this cushion. If you need a light product with good coverage and colour then it's definitely not a good choice for you. My skin reacted to this product very badly - thanks to this cushion now I've got couple additional scars after the pimples. My skin couldn't breathe under the layer of this product. I can admit that this product survived with me about 8-10 hours but all my clothes and phone were full of this foundation. I want my makeup to stay in one place - not emigrate on other things and people. I can stand many different problems with a product but the comedogenic reactions are the dead end for me - I was working a long time on my skin the and I still do not for one foundation to f*ck it up. It also looks like the SPF of this product is too weak for my skin. For me, this product is a big no.

Additional Information
The product is available in 3 different shades - no. 13, no. 21 and no. 23. The UV protection of this product is not very high - it's only SPF 37/PA ++.

Where to get it?
You'll find this Missha Pact on TesterKorea.

Sum up
It's just a nice looking package and nothing else. I'm really sad with the ingredients and how my skin looks like after using this product. I've heard lots of good reviews - even from my friends on this product and I'm very disappointed because I was hoping that this cushion will be my favourite one. I'm out of foundations right now so before I get any good cushion or foundation it'll take a while and I'll probably go to Sephora to get other product.

And how do you like the design of this product? Have you ever tried any product from Missha? What do you think about this cushion?
