Dealing with dark spots and post-acne scars is a long process, it takes months or even ages. Some treatments are cheap and you can do it on your own, some treatments involve medicine and big amounts of money. Because I prefer to start with cheaper products I've started with Klairs Vitamin C Serum but now it's time for something stronger. Let me introduce you to famous by Wishtrend Pure Vitamin C21.5 Advanced Serum

Couple words about brand
I'm sure that you might hear of this brand before - by Wishtrend is a brand related to online K-beauty shop Wishtrend. The previous version C20 is a well known Vitamin C serum, the new version C21.5 contains fewer ingredients.

Packaging
Paper box contains serum and pipette. This solution is very useful - change the closing to the pipette with a first use. The bottle is brown and that's a benefit if it comes to vitamin C, it'll be fresh for a longer time.

Skin Type
This serum is recommended for all skin types.

Ingredients
Hippophae Rhamnoides Water (70%), Ascorbic Acid (21.5%), Sodium Lactate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Cassia Obtusifolia Seed Extract, Allantoin, Xanthan Gum, Ethyl Hexanediol

Hippophae Rhamnoides (Buckthorn) Water - for me Buckthorn is an ingredient which I usually see in Russian products, in Poland Buckthorn is also called "a gold of Siberia" and you can even buy here a buckthorn jam. Hippophae Rhamnoides is a source of Vitamin C and AHA acid, that's why this ingredient is really good in this combination and I'm happy that they decided to use it instead of regular water. Ascorbic Acid - most famous form of Vitamin C, I'm sure I don't have to tell you that vitamin C brightens your skin and pigmentations. Sodium Lactate - another AHA acid, chemical peeling, good for our skin. 1,2-Hexanediol - an antibacterial preservative, Sodium Hyaluronate - it does not only moisturise our skin, it also works for pigmentation, scars and wrinkles. Panthenol - this substance is good for any inflammation and damaged skin. Cassia Obtusifolia Seed Extract is also called Jue Ming Zi has antibacterial properties. Allantoin works for inflammation, it helps skin to regenerate quicker. Xanthan Gum is a thickener and Ethyl Hexanediol is a synthetic substance and it controls product's stickiness.

Smell & Texture
The texture is similar to dry oil, the smell is very delicate, I can barely smell it, it reminds me of lemon or orange. The colour of this serum is light yellow, from what I read on other blogs - it'll turn darker when it's out of date so if the substance is brown then you know, you should throw it away.

How does it work for me?
I use this serum only in the mornings because Vitamin C is better for morning routine and AHA/BHA acids for evening routine. What's good for this product is that I have no allergic reactions and I can see that my face is brighter. I can see that some dark spots have really disappeared. In the summer, this serum is going to be a good start of the day, just imagine - putting a cold serum onto your face in the morning will be the best thing ever. After 1,5 months I've started to see something strange on the bottle - the product started to crystallise and that's normal, just wipe the crystals from the bottle and you can normally use it. I have no problems with using this product before my makeup but there's one problem - one low-end cushion had a problem with this serum, it started to show off my pores but I've tested it on 5 different foundations/bb & cc creams/cushions and only one of them has this problem.

Additional Information
This serum contains 6450ppm (parts per million) of Vitamin C, it gives us 6.45 mg/g. The formula is not sticky and the product has no harsh chemicals. Remember to keep the substance in the fridge and to use sunscreen with this product

Sum up
It's a good serum with amazing ingredients. I can see the difference after changing my Vitamin C serums in my morning routine but if it comes to pigmentation you have to remember that it takes a long time to remove pigmentation and it takes many different products - besides adding some vitamin C to your skincare you have to remember to add other substances to your routine like acid treatments, exfoliating, etc. If you're new to Vitamin C - try with weaker products such as Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C serum (review here). For sure I'll try other products similar to this to let you know which one is the best but right now - C21.5 has the best ingredients if you really want to see effects of the Vitamin C treatment. I got this ByWishtrend C21.5 Vitamin C Serum from a shop called RareBeautyMarket, you can find it on Wishtrend.

Do you know this serum? Do you use Vitamin C in your skincare routine? What other Vitamin C serum do you know or recommend?
