Who likes acne? NO ONE! We all from time to time get some pimples that we would love to squeeze. It's not the safest thing you can do to your skin. Hopefully, cosmetics brands have products for us to remove pimples quicker and easier. Today I'm going to show you a Tia'm Spot Remover Kit, does it really work?
Couple words about brand
I'm sure you all know the C20 Original Pure Vitamin C 20 Serum - the producer of this serum previously has the name O.S.T C20 but it has changed the name to TIA'M.
Packaging
This product has 3 steps, each step has its own little packaging even if they are all connected. Let's focus a little bit on the design - it's probably the cutest pimple drawing I've ever seen. I feel like the target of this product are teenagers and people in their 20's - young adults.
Skin Type
This product is recommended for people with acne-prone skin.
Ingredients
Because this product contains 3 steps, I've decided to talk about each step.

Water - as always we start with water, it's a good sign. Alcohol - a substance which a lot of people try to avoid, but on the other hand, it can strengthen product's action on our skin. In this case, it has to dry a pimple. Sodium Lactate - depending on concentration it might be a moisturiser or exfoliator - in this case, it's obvious - it's an exfoliator. You shouldn't use this ingredient during the pregnancy. Butylene Glycol - a moisturiser, it makes skin softer. Glycolic Acid - chemical exfoliator. You can find it in fruits such as apples or grapes, in a low concentration it's a good moisturiser and it works for pigmentation. Glycerin - antihistamine moisturiser, some people believe that Glycerin might be comedogenic but in comedogenic substance ratings, Glycerin is quite low. PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil - it's not a safe substance, this substance shouldn't be used especially if you're pregnant. Salicylic Acid - it can clean your pores and help with acne. If you're sensitive to aspirin you should be careful with this ingredient. Coceth-7 - an emulsifier. PPG-1-PEG-9 Lauryl Glycol Ether - an emulsifier, this one is not the healthiest choice. Zinc PCA - this substance is will balance sebum production and it'll help you with acne. Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil - this oil has anti-aging properties. Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate - that name sounds so scary, but we shouldn’t be afraid of this one, it’s a very good - what I like to call - „multi tool” - it can help with acne, pigmentation, inflammations, allergy and atopic dermatitis. It also helps with wrinkles and it helps to moderate sebum level. PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil - detergent & emulsifier, not good for our skin. Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract - liquorice is used as a skin brightener, it's a very good substance, but it's not a good substance during the pregnancy. Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil - an amazing ingredient, usually used in the product for acne-prone skin due to its antibacterial properties. Retinyl Palmitate - a form of Vitamin A, it brightens the skin and it works as an acne and wrinkle treatment. This ingredient should be avoided during the pregnancy. Arachis Hypogaea (Peanut) Oil - an emollient, it is recommended for dry skin, unfortunately, it's a very popular allergen so if you've got an allergy you should avoid it. Azelaic Acid - an exfoliator, it reduces acne, pigmentation and fine lines. Sea Water - contains more minerals than regular water. Wine Extract - anti-irritating ingredient, it slows down the ageing process. 1,2-Hexanediol - a synthetic preservative. Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract - is one of the herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine, another antioxidant, it might help with wrinkles and inflammations. Beta-Glucan - anti-inflammatory ingredient, but it also works as a moisturiser and anti-aging agent. Tocopherol - Vitamin E, good moisturiser and natural preservative. Benzyl Glycol - solvent. Ethylhexyl Glycerin - a preservative and very light moisturiser. Raspberry Ketone - this ingredient improves skin elasticity.

Glyceryl Stearate - an emollient, it prevents skin from dehydration. It might be comedogenic. PEG-100 Stearate - an emulsifier, not the healthiest one. Cyclopentasiloxane - an emollient and light silicone but you shouldn't be scared of it - according to EWG, this ingredient isn't harmful. Sorbitan Sesquioleate - an emulsifier. Cetearyl Glucoside - an emollient, it makes products easier to spread on the skin. Cyclohexasiloxane - emollient but also a silicone, it makes skin smooth in touch, according to EWG, this ingredient isn't harmful. Phenoxyethanol - a preservative, not good for health. Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate and Glyceryl Oleate Citrate - emulsifiers. Polyacrylate-13 - protect skin from dehydration. Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil - an amazing ingredient, usually used in the product for acne-prone skin due to its antibacterial properties. Disodium EDTA - synthetic substance, it has to help all the preservatives in their job - thanks to this ingredient our products are fresh for a longer time. It is safe but in small concentration. Polyisobutene - a thickener. Panthenol - also known as provitamin B5, good moisturiser. I always recommend this ingredient for sensitive skin and after sunburns, it's a cure for inflammation. Xanthan Gum - an emulsifier. Azelaic Acid - an exfoliator, it reduces acne, pigmentation and fine lines. Caprylyl Glycol - an emollient, it might be comedogenic. Caprylhydroxamic Acid - mild preservative. Butylene Glycol - a moisturiser, it makes skin softer. Sea Water - contains more minerals than regular water. Lactobacillus/Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract Ferment Filtrate - this ferment is good for acne-prone and irritated but it can be also used to slow down the skin ageing process. Asiaticoside - anti-bacterial ingredient. Centella Asiatica Extract - also known as Gotu Kola, great moisturiser, it works for many different skin problems such as wrinkles, acne, pigmentation and even with dark circles under the eyes. Bacillus Ferment - slows down the ageing process but it also helps with clogged and enlarged pores. Asiatic Acid and Madecassic Acid - you can find both of them in Centella Asiatica, that's why Centella is so powerful and useful in skin care. They both help with collagen production and skin irritation. Saccharomyces/Rice Ferment Filtrate - an antioxidant, works for different skin concerns including wrinkles and acne. Sophora Japonica Flower Extract - also known as Ku Shen has whitening properties. Allantoin - another moisturiser which can work with inflammations. Chlorophyllin-Copper Complex - colourant that boosts the healing process. Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract - known as huáng qín in Traditional Chinese Medicine and it can be used as a treatment for psoriasis. It has anti-inflammatory properties but it also provides sun protection (even if it absorbs UVA&UVB rays, it still shouldn't be used as a sunscreen without any other substance like zinc oxide or any other mineral or chemical sunscreen) and it helps with allergies so it can be used even by people with sensitive skin. Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate - this ingredient is used to balance the pH level of the product. Benzyl Glycol - solvent. Ethylhexylglycerin - a preservative and very light moisturiser. Raspberry Ketone - improves skin elasticity.
Step 3 - unfortunately I couldn't find the information on the packaging (yup, my Korean skills aren't good enough to understand everything on the packaging) but if I'm not wrong the patches were made by a brand called Y&K Healthcare.
Smell & Texture
Each step has different smell and texture. Step one is a cotton swab in an enormous size soaked in some acids that smells like ethanol or spirit. The second step reminds me of pink clay, it smells like mint mixed with tea tree oil. The 3rd step has no smell or my nose can't find it - the pimple patches, they are quite light in comparison to COSRX pimple patches.
How does it work for me?
Let's start with 1st step - I was scared that it'll burn my skin but I couldn't feel anything - only if you've got fresh wound you'll feel this step, another way there's no pain. Another problem peanut oil in 1st step- I'm allergic to nuts and peanut oil is very strong allergen but still I've decided to make a patch test and I saw no reactions... after 2 hours my mind just decided to finally work and I just reminded myself that I'm taking antihistamine and even when I've got an allergy test I have no reactions. Step 2 - this cream is making the pimple dry, it reminds me somehow of a clay and it works very similarly to the clay. Step 3 is probably my favourite - acne patches, the results are pretty strange because it helped me with pimples which I've tried to remove with comedo remover but it didn't help with whiteheads and very fresh changes. The whole application process is very easy and the patches are very thin, I feel like I could put a makeup on them and no one would see them. Just to mention - there are 12 patches on one strip.

Sum up
It's an interesting option if you've got troubled skin and you need to remove your pimples quickly. I feel like teenagers might really like this option because it's cheap and the results are quite ok. Will I repurchase it? Who knows, my acne is not as bad but from time to time I also have some bad things happening with my skin and I like to keep products like this set in my storage just in case.
