Do you know why Russian cosmetics are so popular in Poland? There are two secret ingredients which Polish women or even men love the most in them - sea buckthorn and clay. Rapan Beauty is a brand who has based its products on minerals from Ostrovnoye Lake and mixed them with exotic ingredients such as snail mucin and dragon blood to give us powerful products with pure formulas that can help with various skin problems. Today I'm going to show you Rapan Beauty Power Of Nature Mini Set series.
Couple words about the brand
As I said before Rapan Beauty based its products on peloids (clay and mud) from Ostrovnoye Lake. All the products have very pure ingredients - they are free from colourants, parabens and harsh chemicals.

Rapan Beauty Power Of Nature Yellow Clay + Snail Mucin
Ingredients: Yellow Clay, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract.
Yellow Clay - this clay is good for oily skin with acne and pigmentation problems. Yellow Clay is also used to reduce cellulite. Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil - an emollient, it enhances the skin barrier but it might be comedogenic. Snail Secretion Filtrate - humectant with antibacterial properties. This ingredient increases collagen production but it also helps with acne, pigmentation and cellulite. Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract - an antioxidant, known as Acai. This extract is rich in vitamins, especially vitamin C that's why it is recommended for acne-prone skin with pigmentation problems.
It's not your typical mask that smells like perfumes, you can smell real clay here. The texture is very rich, somehow it reminds me of peeling. When I put the mask on my face I felt the tingling on my skin, I've put the other part on my chest and arms because I've got body acne as well and I couldn't feel tingling on my body. My face and my body have reacted differently to this product - my face was red for about 3 minutes after washing it off while my body was ok all the time. After all, effects were pretty good - my face was clean and soft to the touch. I feel like it helped me prevent the hormonal acne because I should already have the chin full of cysts and all I have is mild acne with some blackheads.

Rapan Beauty Intensive Care Power Of Nature
Ingredients: Yellow Clay, Blue Clay, Sulphide-Silt Mud, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Croton Lechleri Resin Powder, Snail Secretion Filtrate
Yellow Clay - this clay is good for oily skin with acne and pigmentation problems. Yellow Clay is also used to reduce cellulite. Blue Clay - this clay is the most delicate clay from all clays. It helps with pigmentation and dull skin but it's recommended to all skin types. Sulphide-Silt Mud - a mud, this ingredient is used to cure several skin conditions such as eczema, increased sebum production or even to improve wrinkles. Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil - an emollient, it enhances the skin barrier but it might be comedogenic. Croton Lechleri Resin Powder - also known as Dragon's Blood, it's a natural resin. It helps with wound healing but it also restores collagen fibres. Snail Secretion Filtrate - humectant with antibacterial properties. This ingredient increases collagen production but it also helps with acne, pigmentation and cellulite.
This mask smells like clay for me, I can't smell any special scent. I've decided to put this mask on my chin, on my cheek and on my hands and chest because I obviously have body acne and some wounds on my face. I do not recommend using this mask on fresh wounds because it hurts that's why I didn't put it all over my face because that would end up with tears but I had some redness on my hand because night before on 3 am I was trying to get to the toilet at my house and I literally ended up on the wall with a little abrasion on my hand. It looks like I've got an irritation on my hand due to this event and I didn't do anything with it but I've decided that I'll take a risk and put it on my hands too. This mask has helped me with the abrasion, the redness is gone, only the most visible parts have decided to stay but they are not as visible as before. My skin looks calm and I can see fewer blackheads after using this mask.
Rapan Beauty Power Of Nature Blue Clay + Dragon's Blood
Ingredients: Blue Clay, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Croton Lechleri Resin Powder, Citrus Junos Fruit Extract
Blue Clay - this clay is the most delicate clay from all clays. It helps with pigmentation and dull skin but it's recommended to all skin types. Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil - an emollient, it enhances the skin barrier but it might be comedogenic. Croton Lechleri Resin Powder - also known as Dragon's Blood, it's a natural resin. It helps with wound healing but it also restores collagen fibres. Citrus Junos Fruit Extract - also known as Yuzu or Yuja, this ingredient is not only popular in the kitchen but also in the skincare. The scent is very powerful but in this mask, it's all about the ceramides which help to restore skin barrier.
This mask smells like doughnuts or something sweet and juicy like lemon. I can't really identify the smell but it's a nice scent. I have to admit that my face wasn't able to stand this mask - I felt like it's too strong for my skin but I've decided to put it all over my chest and arms and it worked. Acne has disappeared, skin is soft and I can feel it's moist which in this case of my body it's like a Christmas - it happens once a year. The texture is like a sand, you can really feel it on your skin but it's a good sign - it can be really effective to use it on the whole body. I feel like this mask is the strongest one but for me, it's an ideal body mask.
How do I feel about these masks?
They are definitely better choice than drugstore masks with alcohol. The ingredients are very pure and they'll work better on your skin than whole chemistry lab in drugstore masks. For me, these masks work better on my body than on my face. There's one thing that you have to remember - after using this mask you have to clean the whole bathtub - it's not a fake clay that will dissolve after a use, it's a real, meaty clay. Do I recommend these masks? Yes, I do, they are safer for your skin than masks with alcohol in it.
