If you're a makeup lover then oil-based cleansers should be your besties - lots of foundations and primers are full of silicones and other bad substances that are clogging your pores or do some bad stuff to your skin. Oil-based cleansers help us maintain skin clean and fresh, they remove all the silicones. Unfortunately, not every oil is good for cleansing and we have to know how to find the ideal one. This time let me introduce you to Swisspure The Mild Cleansing Balm.
Couple words about brand
Swisspure is a sister brand of brands such as Missha and A'pieu. This brand might not be as famous as Missha but definitely, it's worth a check.
Packaging
The packaging looks really clear, inside there's an additional lid and spatula - it's a standard thing in cleansing balms. I'm only surprised that there's no additional packaging like a paper box on this item.
Skin Type

Silica Dimethyl Silylate - an emulsifier, it might be comedogenic. Silica - absorbs oil and sweat. Sorbitan Stearate - an emollient. Leontopodium Alpinum Extract - an antioxidant with anti-aging properties. It helps with skin recovery process. Epilobium Fleischeri Extract - a natural ingredient with anti-inflammatory properties. Fragrance - the scent, usually chemical one.
Smell & Texture
The smell reminds me of herbs, it's quite neutral. The texture is like a jelly, I feel like with time this cleansing balm started to change its form to more liquidy. When we add some water to this balm it starts to change its form from balm to cleansing milk but not in 100% - I can feel some lumps,
How does it work for me?
Let's say that it's a pretty interesting cleansing oil, but it's not the flawless one. I'm not 100% happy with the effectiveness of this product - it leaves quite a big amount of mascara on my lashes and it's hard to remove eye makeup with it because my eyes felt like the products are still in my eyes even after washing it off. If it comes to a foundation - yes it does work. I had no allergic reaction, I see no comedogenic reactions and that's the most important thing for me. I've been using this oil for over 1 month and I'm already in the middle of the packaging, that's not a good sign. It's quite a hard formula - I can't mix the lumps of this product with water. Overall, my feelings are pretty mixed because the formula is terrible, but the smell is great.
Additional Information
Swisspure is a Missha's and A'pieu's sister brand.
Where to get it
Sum up
As I said, I don't know what I should think about this product - the smell is nice but with my heavy makeup, this product has some troubles. It's a nice cleansing balm for everyone who uses very light makeup or who has very sensitive skin.
And how do you like this product? Do you know swisspure? Which cleansing oil or balm do you use?
