Cruelty-free skincare is getting bigger and bigger, more of us are interested in it and that's a good thing. This week Wishtrend has started a special event on Cruelty-Free products to spread the awareness. If you don't know Klairs - one of the brands that belong to Wishcompany is involved in a fight for animal rights. It's a great cause so I thought I'll share with you product from Klairs, By Wishtrend, COSRX, I'm From and Chica Y Chico which I think are worth a try.
Which brands are cruelty-free?
The Cruelty-Free cosmetic topic is quite messed up, there are websites that store all the names and verify the brands in its own way, there are brands which say "we are cruelty-free" but for example, they sell their products in Mainland China which automatically means that they allow the animal testing if it's needed by the law. According to Wishtrend, the brands that do not test on animals and which we can find on Wishtrend.com are: By Wishtrend, Chica Y Chico, COSRX, I'm From, Jungle Botanics, Klairs and Skin&Lab.
By Wishtrend Green Tea Enzyme Wash
Enzyme Washes aren't for everyone, some skins types might not like them but for me, it's always an interesting and pleasing way to exfoliate - even if chemical exfoliators are always first for me. What's so amazing about this product? The ingredients are pretty simple and this product contains green tea powder. The pH is more about 6 than 5,5 but it's not a product which you are going to use every day.

By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water
If you want to start your journey with acids this Mandelic Acid Water is a good product to start with, the concentration of the product is quite low and ideal to start with. It also contains Beta-Glucan and Panthenol which makes it ideal for sensitive skin. I like to recommend this product in personal messages I got because I've tested it and it's probably the lightest AHA I've ever tried and I never had problems with (as I usually do have with 10% AHA)

By Wishtrend Natural Vitamin 21.5 Enhancing Sheet Mask
Vitamin series from By Wishtrend contains 3 products: Vitamin C Serum, Vitamin Cream and a Sheet Mask. I've tried all of them but sheet masks are definitely my favourite - they are really mild, full of essence and they do brighten the skin - even if after using single sheet effects won't stay for a long time. It's a mask which you want to keep in a stash to use it before a big day or an important meeting/party.
Chica Y Chico Tota-S 3.0
Chica Y Chico is not a brand which I know very well but it's a brand which helped me a lot with my skin when I started my treatment. Tota-S 3.0 changed my life in a tiny way, the cream contains lots of natural ingredients which are ideal for acne-prone skin, I use this cream as a spot treatment and I just ended the 2nd tube. It's very delicate and moisturizing product which can be really useful for teenagers since lots of products recommended for teenagers in drugstores contains many harsh and drying substances like alcohol denat in the first place of the ingredient's list.

COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patches
That's my anti-acne special agent! I lost count in how many packages of acne patches from COSRX I used but they are my favourite! I use them overnight after my routine on pimples - I like to do something which I shouldn't recommend to you - I use a clean needle to pinch a pimple and then I put COSRX patch to suck a whole pimple away during the night. I also feel like thanks to the patches the spot isn't as red as without it and it speeds up the healing process.
COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser
This gel smells to me like a tea tree oil and the pH of this cleanser is ideal for acne prone skin - since pH above 6 is an ideal pH for acne bacteria. I feel like I do not have to tell you about this product since it's like the most popular COSRX product next to Acne Patches. Every time if I'm not sure which cleanser I have to buy I'll think about this COSRX cleanser since it's good and quite cheap. I haven't made a review of it yet but let me know if you would like a post about my favourite cleansers with good pH.
I'm From Magnolia Wake Essence
Another product made in collaboration with Marymond. This product is made out of nature, the brand is inspired by local ingredients such as Magnolia from Sobaek Mountains of Korea. It's not very moisturizing essence and the consistency is quite thick but it's definitely a product worth a try, you can also get I'm From Magnolia Sleep Mask from the same series. A year ago I was obsessed with this series thanks to the fact that it's a collaboration with Marymond and it's all about flowers and Magnolias which I love because my hometown is also called "a city of Magnolias", now I can admit that if I wouldn't have too many sleeping packs in my stash I would go for this duo again to see how it works together.
I'm From Honey Cream
I didn't like this cream since it's not a product for oily skin but if you're searching a powerful cream for dry or mature skin then this is the one! This cream was made of Jirisan Herbal Honey, it contains Propolis, Shea Butter, Niacinamide and Beta-Glucan, such mixture is really hydrating and I would also say it's also more like a winter cream or cream for people that live in a harsh climate or after some chemical treatments. Personally, now I'm all about Honey Mask from I'm From, it's on my wishlist for more than a year now.

Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner
I feel like both Klairs toners are really good but Unscented version - even if at first it smelled to me like burned plastic - is my favourite. It's a toner which lasts long and it gives skin enough moisture. If your skin is sensitive then Unscented version is made for you, it doesn't contain any essential oils and it's still powerful and it contains good ingredients. It can be beneficial for acne-prone skin because of Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract.

Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream
This cream was my HG for a long time and I still like to go back to it even if currently, I've got many other creams which I want to try - still, I know that one day when I'm done with what's in my stash I'm going to go back to it. It was the first cream that worked with my acne-prone skin, it's not comedogenic and my skin is always moist after using it without feeling sticky.

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask
That's probably the funniest sleeping mask I've ever tried, it can be used as a sleeping mask or as a normal mask and it is recommended to mix it with Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop from Klairs, I haven't tried them both together but without drops this mask can be all you need during the summer night and during the winter. The scent is herbal and it contains natural extract so I would be careful with it on sensitive skin

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop
If you've got a sensitive skin and you still want to add vitamin serum then this is a choice for you, this serum is bit oily and it really contains Vitamin C (only 5%) but how it's possible that the packaging is white? The colour of the vitamin drops will later go yellow or even brown when it's getting worse but it's a very stable serum and it should work for 3-6 months before going bad. You can mix it with Vitamin E Mask to get better results, I haven't tried this duo but definitely, the Vitamin Drops are making the skin less dull.

Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream
Can you believe that this cream was the first Klairs product I've tried? I used it as a spot treatment for so long, I feel like without it, my skin wouldn't get better at all. It's quite a heavy cream which for acne-prone skin might work only on dry patches (because it can be comedogenic) or on redness area but for dry skin, it can be an everyday product.

Klairs X RAWROW Ultimate Cosmetic Bag
A non-cosmetic product which you probably don't know that I own - I'm an owner of Ultimate Cosmetic Bag from Klairs collaboration with Raw Row and I would say that before I got it I thought it's the most useless product ever but in fact - you can fit more in it than you think. If you travel a lot, you can probably store all the miniatures and samples here, normally I keep lots of samples, lipsticks and minis in it and wait for it... it's waterproof! It's worth to mention that it is a limited edition.
What's on my Wishtrend Cruelty-Free Wishlist?
I've mentioned some product that I've tried but what's on my wishlist? I'm all about the brand called I'm From, because they have ginseng line - Ginseng Serum and Ginseng Mask which I want to try because I love the scent of ginseng and it's my favourite natural ingredient if it comes to traditional medicine (do you know that you can use ginseng tea instead of a cup of coffee?) and if I wouldn't have too many products in my stash especially wash-off and overnight face masks I would go for Rice Mask, Real Honey Mask and Volcanic Mask. There's also one Klairs product which I want to try because all I need is some peptides in my life Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop is one of not many Klairs product that I haven't tried and which is interesting since I've never tried EGF peptides (I always use FGF only), I also want to try a two new products - they were just released Midnight Blue Calming Sheet Mask and Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask since brand decided not only to change the formulation and supplier but also release a new mask. And last but not least Skin&Lab Oxygen Ultimate Brightening Essence, if I'm right then this brand is a sister brand of Chica Y Chico, what makes me interested in this product are two ingredients Methyl Perfluorobutyl Ether and Methyl Perfluoroisobutyl Ether, if you've ever seen any of my bubble mask posts then you know that both ingredients are used in bubble masks to make bubbles but how does it work in a serum?
What's the latest Wishtrend promo offer?
