Meldvici Emulsion

This year has started with my skin getting more sensitive than ever. I had to change my skincare routine completely and learn how to live with sensitive & acne-prone skin. During the last couple of months, I found 5 products which I always use when something bad is going on with my skin.

Meldvici Emulsion*

This emulsion saved my skin! Meldvici is a South Korean brand which is quite young - their line contains only Emulsion and Soothing Mist. I haven't tried the mist yet but emulsion was all I needed in January. I was clever enough to save it for later. What's so amazing about this product? It contains Shea Butter, Niacinamide, Olive Oil, Squalane, Ceramide NP, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Allantoin and Sodium Hyaluronate as well as Beta Glucan. This mix is not only good for sensitive skin as a soothing treatment but it's also a hydrating mixture with a bit of brightening added to it.

Neogen Dermalogy White Truffle Serum In Oil Drop

Neogen Dermalogy White Truffle Serum In Oil Drop

A year ago I bought a set of Neogen Truffle Pact that came with White Truffle Serum as a sample. Obviously, I had no other choice than try it but I never felt like I need it until January. I always thought that this serum might be too heavy for my skin but in fact, it's not that heavy as I thought. It's a lightweight serum that reminds a non-sticky oil with a delicate fruity smell. Every skin is different but mine didn't react to any of the ingredients, even the other way - it helped me when other products were making my skin burn.

La Roche Posay Cleanser

La Roche Posay Effaclar Cleanser

This brand knows what they do! Their cleansers are the best product you can use for any skin type because most of the cleanser I've checked have pH that equals 5,5 which is an ideal pH for the skin. I was lucky enough that I had a small tube in my stash because, without it, my skin wouldn't get better as quickly as it did. If your skin gets worse the first thing to do - no matter if your skin is getting dehydrated or you've got lots of acne lately - check the pH because the wrong pH can be the main villain here.

Dr.Jart+ Shake and Shot Rubber Mask - Hydra Shot

Dr.Jart+ Shake and Shot Rubber Mask - Hydra Shot

I've tested this mask on Instagram and I'm going to make a longer post about this series of mask and regional differences between each version but the hydrating version is definitely worth a try! It really made my skin moist even if this type of mask might look as useless and creepy. It's more like an instant treatment that will work right now than a product that will leave effects for a longer time.

Klairs Unscented Toner

Klairs Unscented Toner*

I've made a longer post about it, it's a new version of famous Klairs Toner, the scent might be bit unpleasing but this version does not contain any natural oil or herbal extract that might make the sensitive skin irritated. You can also use it with cotton pads -  just soak the pads in a toner and put them for 5 minutes on your face. Using this trick from time to time helps you revitalize and hydrate the dehydrated skin.

Let me know if you've tried any of these products and which are your favourite products for sensitive skin.
