Where do I shop for K-beauty?

Manefit Beauty Planner Honey Sheet Mask Asiacare K-beauty store

I barely ever write about shops where you can find Kbeauty and that's a shame because I'm aware that not everyone knows where to get products and we are usually scared of new websites. Asiacare is not a new website but I believe it's not so popular and that's sad because it's one of not many European stores with English and Polish language versions and brands such as May Coop, Blithe, Neogen, A'pieu, Frudia, Missha, Manefit and many other brands.

About the shop

Asiacare is a Polish k-beauty shop - all the brands you can find there are from Korea. It has a nice selection of brands at affordable prices - I can't deny that one of the biggest benefits of Asiacare is a choice which I don't really have in the city where I live and sometimes I need product ASAP - especially if it goes to makeup or cleansing, I always try to be prepared but sometimes I'm not and that's the problem. So what we can find there? This store offers products from brands such as A'Pieu, Belleza Castillo, Blithe, Ettang, Frudia, Klairs, Manefit, May Coop, Missha, Neogen, Roroko, Skinmiso, Swiss Pure and The Orchid Skin. I got a package from this store and I want to share with you some reviews as well as tips on what are my must-haves to check at Asiacare.

Manefit Beauty Planner Honey Sheet Mask Asiacare K-beauty store

Manefit Beauty Planner Honey Sheet Mask

The first mask I want to show you is probably the mask I was the most excited to try - you know how much I like Honey & Propolis. I also heard that Manefit has amazing sheet masks and I've never tried it before. The mask itself is very thin, it has an additional layer to make the mask easier to apply - in fact, it can be hard even with this additional layer, I guess the more you use sheet masks the easier it gets to figure out how to apply them. Obviously, the mask didn't fit my face ideally - in general, my face is usually too small to cover it with a mask, this one just obsessively tried to cover my lips with the part that should stick between my nose and lips.  To tell you more about this mask, we need to check ingredients

Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Alcohol, Cyclohexasiloxane, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Honey Extract, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethiconol, Carbomer, Sophora Angustifolia Root Extract, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Prunus Persica (Peach) Leaf Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Potassium Hydroxide, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Sodium Hyaluronate

As you can see - alcohol is quite high and I can clearly smell it and feel it on my skin. The scent is very sweet like alcohol mixed with honey and some floral scents, sometimes it even reminds me of... beer. At first, my skin got red because of the alcohol and the fact that my skin is usually super sensitive during winter (not to mention all the treatments I had lately at school) but then my skin started to react well, my skin got pale again, it felt very soft in touch - alcohol can make your skin soft but it can also promote other ingredients. It's worth to mention that this mask contains Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract and Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract. I would definitely recommend this mask to oily skin - as long as you're not sensitive and you don't exfoliate your skin often. Just to mention - the mask didn't have lots of essence.

Another mask which I want to show you is a mask which I was a bit scared of at first. A'pieu is quite a "cheap" brand or I should rather say affordable because it costs less and it has some great lines like Madecassoside line or line with tea tree oil. This mask turned out to be a total surprise - a sweet melon scent and a thin but easy to apply cotton mask. I was surprised with how much of the essence was left in the packaging - I could easily use it later as a step in my skincare routine. The fit wasn't ideal - I guess according to A'Pieu middle part of my face should be longer - between eyes and mouth. Let's see what's inside the mask:

Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Betaine, Sea Water, Cucumis Melo (Melon) Fruit Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Dimethicone, C12-14 Pareth-12, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Arginine, Carbomer, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Fruit Extract, Allantoin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Morus Alba Bark Extract, Coix Lacryma-Jobi Ma-yuen Seed Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Fragrance

A'pieu promotes this mask as a mask with Sea Water, but what caught my eye was Melon Extract which got really high on the list, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract and Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract. Witch Hazel is especially good for acne-prone skin. The mask nourished my skin, it's quite a lightweight mask which you can use under makeup, I could even say that it can be worn every day.

A'pieu Whipping Egg Mouse Pack Asiacare K-beauty store

A'pieu Whipping Egg Mouse Pack

Egg in skincare? Yes, please! It's not a vegan-friendly product and I was bit confused - should I use it every day or from time to time. Turns out it's a cleansing foam with a delicate scent. I wasn't able to check pH of this foam so it was a bit risky for me but hopefully, my skin didn't react to this foam, even Myristic Acid, Palmitic Acid and Lauric Acid weren't problematic this time. I'm not used to such form of a cleansing foam but this is probably the easiest form to use cleansing foam - you don't need to work with your hands to make foam. I would even say that this form of cleansing is great when you travel - you can be sure that the product won't leak. It removes makeup well but let's check what's inside:

Water, Glycerin, Isopentane, Betaine, TEA-cocoyl Glutamate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Trehalose, Cocamide DEA, Myristic Acid, Tromethamine, Carbon Dioxide, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Chlorphenesin, Fragrance, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Carbomer, Palmitic Acid, Lauric acid, Albumen, Butylene Glycol, Egg Yolk Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Milk Protein Extract, Citric Acid

Water & Glycerin seems to be a very typical combination. This mask has some ingredients which I know that people like to avoid like TEA-cocoyl Glutamat or Cocamide DEA. Personally, I won't tell you a lot about them because I've got limited information about them and I don't feel comfortable to share my knowledge with you - if they are good or bad but remember - it's foam in aerosol form so it has to have ingredients which you won't normally see in a foam, like Isopentane. Egg Yolk Extract is an ingredient which shouldn't surprise you, egg, in general, is used in some pore cleansing series - there are even products that have an egg shape but there's also egg white hidden under the name Albumen, an ingredient that should make your skin feels tighter. It might not be my favourite foam but still, it's quite enjoyable and it's something new in comparison to local products.

Asiacare kbeauty store Missha Super Aqua Ice Tear Toner

I also got some samples in the package - that's an important part for some of you I guess since we always prefer to try samples first and buy later and I can't deny, I'm the same in some cases, this time - thanks to Asiacare I started to consider if I should get Missha Super Aqua Ice Tear Toner - the emulsion was great too but still the toner got my heart.

Overall, even if Asiacare has a smaller choice than huge stores located in Korea, it's still nice to find my favourite brands and has no problem with exchanging money - just pay in local currency. If you're from Poland let me know where do you usually order cosmetics and which store review - no matter if it's a Polish or Korean, etc would you like to see next.
