Summer is coming and it's time for some changes in your makeup and body care routine. Today, we are going to focus on both with Rom&nd and Madforcos.
About Rom&nd
Rom&nd or Romand is a Kbeauty makeup brand created by Saerom Min - a beauty creator. Believe me or not, but when I was creating this article for you, I found out that I was watching Saerom and I didn't know that Rom&nd is her brand! I tried to spy a bit on this brand to make sure that my Korean got better and that this brand started to work in 2016. I remember when I saw a marble palette which I didn't buy, but that's how rom&nd started to be popular abroad and nowadays I feel like it's one of the main tint brands on the market.
About Madforcos
Madforcos is one of the unique shops with their own brands - there are few Kbeauty stores like this on the market. Besides Rom&nd you'll find there brands such as Huxley, Sioris, Velyvely, VT and few less popular brands - Lindsay, Daymellow and Celebeau.
BEFORE WE START - ROM&ND
What's unique in Rom&nd are the stickers, all the products had the sticker which you can find on the photo above.
Rom&nd Zero Cushion
Cyclopentasiloxane, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Butylene Glycol, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Phenyl Trimethicone, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Polypropylsilsesquioxane, Niacinamide, Pentylene Glycol, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Isododecane, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Magnesium Sulfate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Stearic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Citronellol, Geraniol, Water, Lauryl Glucoside, Aluminum Hydroxide, Iron Oxide Yellow (CI 7492), PEG-10 Tris(Trimethylsiloxy)silylethyl Dimethicone, Fragrance(Parfum), Purified Water, Black Oxide of Iron (CI 7499), Aluminium Hydroxide, Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Fragrance, Red Oxide of Iron (CI 77491), Black Oxide of Iron (CI 77499), Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Lauryl PEG-10 Tris(Trimethylsiloxy)silylethyl Dimethicone, Iron Oxide Yellow (CI 77492), Tocopherol, Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Lauryl PEG-10 Trissilylethyl Dimethicone
I got shade #04 Porcelain 13 which is the lightest shade available. It's a neutral shade. #04 Porcelain is the equivalent of shade 13. Korean brands usually go with numbers such as 13, 21, 23 and 25, sometimes even 19 or 15 (shades 21 and 23 are the most common shades). Other shades from this cushion line are #01 Pure 21, #02 Natural 21 - with a cold undertone, #03 Beige 23 and #05 Sand 25. At first, when I saw this shade I thought it's going to be too dark for me. What's interesting in this cushion is the use of Niacinamide which is a beneficial ingredient for acne-prone skin. The packaging is plastic and grey, it fits the minimalistic style and for me, it's not a problem that this product looks simple. Once you open this cushion - remember to remove the mirror cover. Yes, I saw people saying that mirrors in cushions are blurry because they forgot about the mirror protection. There are some unique elements in this cushion like a date sticker. Yes, it has a sticker that helps you to stick to the PAO date. PAO for this product is 12 months.
Lately, I had some issues with my skin and this cushion is 10/10 if it comes to coverage. It might not has the lightest shade I ever tried, but the coverage is impressive. It covers the redness, it can make your skin look quite soft or even give a blur effect. It has a dewy finishing which many of you should enjoy just like I did.
Rom&nd Zero Layer Foundation
Water, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Cyclopentasiloxane, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Butylene Glycol, Diphenylsiloxy Phenyl Trimethicone, Isododecane, Dimethicone, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, 1,2-Hexanediol, Boron Nitride, Caprylyl Methicone, Iron Oxides (CI 77492), PEG-10 Dimethicone, Magnesium Sulfate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Tocopheryl Acetate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Polypropylsilsesquioxane, Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Centella Asiatica Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glyceryl Caprylate, Propylene Carbonate, Xanthan Gum, Fragrance(Parfum), Disodium EDTA, PEG/PPG-18/18, Aluminum, Aluminum Hydroxide, PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, PEG-9, Hydroxide, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone
I tried shade #02 Natural Ivory. This foundation has Centella Extract, and that's something I see for the first time in a foundation. Centella has many beneficial properties - it can help with the healing process of the skin. I feel like Rom&nd Zero Layer Foundation is quite an unknown product from Rom&nd, since the majority of us know Romand for tints and hanbok collection - don't be surprised, this collection is related to makeup, not clothing. Rom&nd Zero Layer Foundation has a light, but slightly matte formula.
We got here four different shades #01 Pure Ivory - a light equivalent of shade #21 with pink undertones, #02 Natural Ivory - an equivalent of shade #21 with yellow undertones, #03 Petal Beige - an equivalent of shade #23 with pink undertones and #04 Natural Beige - shade #23 with yellow undertones. It's not a perfect match for me, but I can admit, I was suspecting something darker from #02 Natural Ivory. I'm shocked how gentle this foundation is - I'm not joking, it has this velvet feeling and it leaves the blur effect on the skin. This product also has a date sticker, just like cushion (all products fro Rom&nd which I tested had sticker).

These ingredients are a sum up what was used in the entire series.
We are still wearing masks so I didn't have too many occasions to test lip products, but matte formulas are my favourite. According to the internet, Romand has 20 shades available in the entire Rom&nd Zero Matte Lipstick collection. I tested shade #04 Before Sunset.
These 20 shades can fit in one of 4 categories: Nude, Red, Mood and Light. I'm a huge fan of red shades, but #04 Before Sunset fits the category Mood which also sounds good. According to Romand, #04 Before Sunset is a pink MLBB shade, MLBB stands for My Lips But Better.
It's a shade that I can use on daily basis due to finishing and intensive but at the same time mild shade. It doesn't look vulgar, and that means a lot to me. Sadly, I can't tell you a lot about durability due to the mask. Similar to cushion and foundation - this product has a date sticker as well.
Rom&nd Zero Glasting Water Tint - #04 Vintage Ocean
Purified Water, Diphenyl Dimethicone, Diisostearyl Malate, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Octyldodecanol, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Bis-Behenyl/Isostearyl /Phytosteryl Dimer Dilinoleyl Dimer Dilinoleate, Diglycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Sorbitan Isostearate, Polysorbate 60, Pentylene Glycol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Sunset Yellow FCF, Polyglycerin-3, Fragrance, Stevioside, Fast Acid Magenta, Ethylhexylglycerin, Indigo Carmine, Ceteareth-20 Squalane, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Ceteareth-20, Squalane, Amyl Cinnamal, Hexyl Cinnamal, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Phloxine B, Linalool, Benzyl Benzoate, Brilliant Blue FCF
Now we are going to my least favourite formula - Rom&nd Zero Glasting Water Tint. I tried shade #04 Vintage Ocean. My lips are currently very dry and I bite them a lot due to stress, so formula like this is beneficial for my lips, but I'm not a fan of lipgloss look. Rom&nd Zero Glasting Water Tint has 8 different shades, with Vintage Ocean being the cold red shade. I can't even tell to much about it since I'm just not a fan of this formula.
Rom&nd Zero Velvet Tint - 06 #deepsoul

Last, but not least we got Rom&nd Zero Velvet Tint in shade 06 #deepsoul. Zero Velvet Tint has 17 shades in total, but I might be wrong. The deep soul is a deep red brown shade, quite cold and dark, but I love it!
I'm sure it's not my last Rom&nd lip tint, because that's a formula I like the most, and many of the shades from this collection fit my complexion. You can easily smudge this tint and get a gradation look which I'm a fan of - it makes your lips look gentle, even if the shade is a bit darker.
MADFORCOS Milky Moisture Hand Mask
Water(Aqua), Glycerin, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Goat Milk Extract(50ppm), Milk Protein Extract(50ppm), Hydrolyzed Collagen, Saccharomyces/Xylinum/Black Tea Ferment, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Dimethicone, Hydroxyacetophenone, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Carbomer, Urea, Potassium Hydroxide, Allantoin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Adenosine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate
We're going to MADFORCOS and hand mask. I'm not sure how about you, but my hands are my biggest problem currently. My natural barrier got destroyed thanks to poor quality antibacterial gels, and now I got left is to moisturizer my hands well. Safflower Oil is new for me, but Urea and Allantoin are two ingredients that I see a lot in hand moisturizers. Urea, especially in 30-40% concentration is recommended for tinea or very dry skin. Although this mask didn't remove my problem in 100%, it worked well for my skin - my hands feel softer and I feel like using this mask once or twice a week, can help my hands going back to normal. Just don't forget to use hand cream to keep the effect of moisturized and soft hands for a bit longer.
MADFORCOS Silky Coconut Oil Foot Mask
Water(Aqua), Glycerin, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Urea, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil(1000ppm), Saccharomyces/Xylinum/Black Tea Ferment, Ceramide NP, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Hydroxyacetophenone, Cetearyl Olivate, Dimethicone, Sorbitan Olivate, Carbomer, Potassium Hydroxide, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Salicylic Acid, Allantoin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Thymus Serpyllum Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate
MADFORCOS Silky Coconut Oil Foot Mask has a quite similar formulation. Urea is super useful in foot treatments, just like tea tree oil - can make you feel more relaxed, especially if you walk or stand for few hours per day. I'm surprised to see here Salicylic Acid - a BHA. Ceramide NP will also work well for your foot. What I like about this mask is that it's not a mask full of AHA & BHA, this mask is gentle, and instead of strong exfoliation, we are focused more on taking care of your foot with moisture and hydration.
And that's all I want to show you today. Have you ever tried Madforcos or Romand?
