The environment is important, and what we can do about it is to change our habits. Some people choose a bike instead of a car or Vegan beauty instead of regular skincare and makeup products. But where to find Vegan beauty products? Meet Veautie.com - a website where you can find vegan brands such as Glimmer Goddess, Meta Pore and many other brands which I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Why choosing Vegan is good?
There are lots of reasons why people choose Vegan beauty instead of regular brands. It's mostly about our little friends - animals. I'm a bunny mother and it breaks my heart when I see photos of blind rabbits because some imbeciles thought it's a great idea to test the product on animals. Some people in my "field of education and work" doesn't even know that there are alternatives to animal testing. The main problem with beauty is that many brands say that they don't test products or ingredients on animals but at the same time they sell products to mainland China. The animal testing topic in China is quite huge, there are ways to avoid foreign products being tested in China, but huge brands don't care about morals - they usually care about money. No matter what is the reason you choose vegan beauty - it's a good choice.
What's the difference between Vegan and Organic beauty?
Not every organic beauty is cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, and not every vegan-friendly beauty is organic. Not every chemical ingredient is not eco - many natural preservatives have a "chemical" name and it doesn't mean you should be scared of them since products need preservatives to protect your skin from bacteria and fungal infection.

Glimmer Goddess – Organic Papaya and Pineapple Enzyme Face Mask
Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Vegetable Glycerin*, Carica Papaya Fruit Extract*, Carica Papaya Leaf Extract*, Ananas Comosus (Pineapple) Fruit Extract*, Xanthan Gum, Silver Dihydrogen Citrate (natural preservative), Citric Acid
Let's start with ingredients. Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice is a classic moisturizing ingredient with soothing properties. Some people might be allergic to aloe. My problem with aloe is that if you prepare aloe in a "wrong" way, it can sensitize the skin. Hydroxyethyl Cellulose is a thickener. Glycerin or Glycerol is a humectant. Its origin can be natural or synthetic - depending on the product. It protects TEWL (transepidermal water loss) and naturally occurs in the skin. It's one of the NMFs - natural moisturizing factors. It's practical in haircare. Glycerin won't clog your skin or irritate it just the opposite - it protects your skin from irritation.
Carica Papaya Fruit Extract is an emollient. It leaves a moisturizing film on the surface of the skin. It has brightening and antioxidant properties. Glimmer Goddess also added Carica Papaya Leaf Extract to the formula. Ananas Comosus (Pineapple) Fruit Extract is a moisturizing ingredient with soothing and exfoliating properties. Pineapple's enzyme - bromelain is used as an enzyme peel in skincare. Xanthan Gum is a thickener and stabilizer which you can find in food and skincare. Silver Dihydrogen Citrate is a natural preservative. Citric Acid is an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) - a delicate exfoliant and a buffering ingredient. It adjusts the pH of the formula. Sodium Citrate neutralizes metal ions, but it also modifies the pH.
Glimmer Goddess is a natural skincare brand founded in 2015. This brand focuses on quality over quantity. Organic Papaya and Pineapple Enzyme Face Mask would be a great choice for every skin. Papaya and Pineapple enzymes have delicate exfoliating properties - they gently remove dead skin cells and all skin types can use them (unless you're allergic to any of these ingredients). A mask with exfoliating properties without damaging your skin barrier? For me, it sounds great. Because it's a natural product, the PAO date is shorter than other scrubs.

Meta Pora – New Beginning Exfoliating Mask
Ingredients: Kaolin (White Clay), Red Iron Oxide (Pink Clay), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Milk) Powder, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice Powder*, Chamomilla Recutita (Chamomile) Flower Extract, Lavandula (Lavender) Angustifolia Oil * organic ingredients
Kaolin (White Clay) is an ingredient that you probably know well because it's nothing else than clay! It's a great absorber, especially good for oily skin. Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Milk) Powder has exfoliating properties. Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract or Marigold Extract is a plant, which in Europe we use it as a herbal medicine herb. It's antioxidant and astringent with anti-inflammatory properties. It relieves sunburn, itching and eczema. Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice Powder is a powder with soothing and hydrating properties.
Chamomilla Recutita (Chamomile) Flower Extract is popular in herbal medicine and we treat it as a soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredient. It's a source of α-bisabolol (antibacterial and soothing properties) and chamazulene (can influence histamine synthesis, it has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, it gives a blue colour to the formula). Lavandula (Lavender) Angustifolia Oil is an essential oil that you might love or hate. It has some relaxing and antibacterial properties, but it can irritate your skin.
Meta Pora is another natural skincare and vegan-friendly brand. Meta Pora focuses on sustainability, this brand also produces small batches of products. I know acne-prone skin owners love clay masks a lot, what about pre-made clay masks with soothing ingredients? It's a gently mask, and I might not be a fan of Lavender, but some people will enjoy it.

Meta Pora – Simply Hydrating Light Moisturizer
Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Rosa Eglanteria (Rosehip) Oil*, Coco-Glucoside, Stearic Acid (Vegetable Derived), Glyceryl Stearate (Vegetable Derived), Glycerin*, Asimina Triloba (Papaya)*, Ananas Sativus Fruit Extract (Pineapple), Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract*, White Willow Bark, Xanthan Gum, Cetearyl Alcohol (Coconut Derived), Teriminalia Origanum Vulgare Oil, Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum)*, Thymus Vulgaris Extract, Olea Europaea Leaf Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea)*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Santalum Acuminatum (Quandong)*, Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Oil, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot) Oil, Juniperus Deppeana (Juniper) Oil
Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice is a classic moisturizing ingredient with soothing properties. Some people might be allergic to aloe. My problem with aloe is that if you prepare aloe in a "wrong" way, it can sensitize the skin. Rosa Eglanteria (Rosehip) Oil is an oil with antioxidant properties. It's great for mature skin, but also acne-prone skin. It brightens the skin, but it also works as an emollient. Stearic Acid (Vegetable Derived) is an emollient. Glyceryl Stearate (Vegetable Derived) is an ester of Glycerin and Stearic Acid. It's an emollient and emulsifier, and you can find it in oil in water formulas. It's a superb ingredient, but in some solutions, Glyceryl Stearate is problematic for me since it feels like it clogs my skin, but just because I'm not a fan of it, it doesn't mean your skin won't like it. Every skin is different.
Asimina Triloba (Papaya) can help with moisture and brightening of the skin. Ananas Sativus Fruit Extract (Pineapple) is a moisturizing ingredient with soothing and exfoliating properties. Pineapple's enzyme - bromelain is used as an enzyme peel in skincare. Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract is an ingredient that sounds a bit off. Have you ever tried Licorice candy? It was one of the worst nightmares from my childhood, but after many years I can't imagine my life without Licorice, but in skincare. Since I was taught British English, I usually go with the word Liquorice and in this version, it sounds like a great name for rice alcohol. It's a source of flavonoids, Galabridin and Glycyrrhizin. Liquorice is a herb with a long tradition of use in herbal medicine. People believe Liquorice has antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract in skincare can help you with pigmentation, and that's why I started to love Licorice. Is there anything better than the brightening effect? White Willow Bark or Salix Alba Bark is an anti-inflammatory relative of Salicylic Acid aka BHA. White willow is a source of salicin, catechins and tannins. Xanthan Gum is a thickener and stabilizer which you can find in food and skincare. Cetearyl Alcohol (Coconut Derived) is a fatty alcohol. In the beauty industry, it's an emollient. Many people associate alcohol with something awful for the epidermis, but not every alcohol is nasty. Cetearyl alcohol leaves a moisturizing film on the skin to prevent your skin from transepidermal water loss (TEWL). We use Cetearyl alcohol to create an emulsion. Teriminalia Origanum Vulgare Oil or Oregano Essential Oil is supposed to have anti-bacterial properties.
Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) is an antioxidant. Kakadu Plum is typical for Australia and it has brightening properties. Thymus Vulgaris Extract is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory property. It's a great ingredient for acne-prone skin. Olea Europaea is an olive tree, the literal name means European Olive, and the name fits it well since it's a plant which you can find in the Mediterranean region of Europe, but there are other places where Olive can be found. The main compound of Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract is oleuropein. This extract is supposed to calm the skin and protect it from outside factors. Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract is an astringent ingredient derived from Rosemary. It has antibacterial and antifungal properties, it can be soothing but if you're allergic to rosemary or had bad reactions to essential oils, this ingredient can be irritating.
Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) is an antioxidant with enormous popularity and use. You can use it as a moisturizer for both dry and oily skin or as an acne treatment due to its antibacterial properties. Maybe you fight with wrinkles, and you need support? It's an antioxidant, and it can repair your skin after the damage made by UV light (since UVA is helping your skin in aging) and free radicals. Even sensitive skin is a fan of this soothing humectant. Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract is a scent ingredient. Santalum Acuminatum (Quandong) is a source of vitamin C. Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Oil, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot) Oil and Juniperus Deppeana (Juniper) Oil add scent to the product.
Once again Meta Pora, Papaya, Pineapple and Licorice is a great combination for acne-prone skin. Meta Pora uses essential oils instead of fragrances so not everyone will enjoy it, but in this case, I believe my skin might be a fan of the orange, lime and bergamot oil combo.

Paon Rose – Hydrating Peptide Facial Mask
Ingredients: Aqua (Deionized Water), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera), Glycerin (Kosher Vegetable), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (Plant-Based Hyaluronic Acid), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), (Sodium PCA, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Proline, Threonine, Isoleucine, Histidine, Phenylalanine (Peptide Complex)), Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Organic Avena Sativa (Oat), Frankincense Essential Oil, Organic Rosa Canina (Rosehip Seed Oil), Organic Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola Extract), Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail Plant Extract), Wildcrafted Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium Extract), Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion Extract), Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Carrageenan Gum, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Ethylhexylglycerin
Aqua (Deionized Water) hides in a cosmetic product under names such as Aqua or Eau. It's a solvent, but it's not your regular drinking water. If we want to use water in skincare products, we need to make sure this water is clean and free from minerals, any microorganisms or other substances. Usually, water makes up the majority of the content of the product. Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera) is a classic moisturizing ingredient with soothing properties. Some people might be allergic to aloe. My problem with aloe is that if you prepare aloe in a "wrong" way, it can sensitize the skin. Glycerin (Kosher Vegetable) or Glycerol is a humectant. Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (Plant-Based Hyaluronic Acid) is a natural polysaccharide, it adds moisture to the skin.
Panthenol (Vitamin B5) is a humectant. It prevents skin from TEWL (Transepidermal Water Loss). Panthenol is also known as vitamin B5, and it helps with irritation. Panthenol can soothe the skin irritated by preservatives, scent ingredients, and chemical sunscreens - it might have a meaning for lipids in our skin and skin barrier. It speeds up the healing process. It's good to use it after sunbathing. In haircare, Panthenol has moisturizing properties. If you have problems detangling your hair or hair growth go for Panthenol. It is good to mix it with niacinamide and zinc oxide. You can see it in products for atopic dermatitis or psoriasis. Sodium PCA stands for Sodium Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid, and it's a humectant. It leaves a hydrating film on your skin that prevents transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Sodium PCA naturally occurs in the skin. Arginine is an amino acid. It helps with protein biosynthesis in adults. According to research from 1964, a lack of arginine might raise your chance to get an HSV infection. Aspartic Acid is an amino acid, it has a positive effect on the moisture of the skin. Glycine is an amino acid, it's a moisturizer that promotes wound healing. Alanine is an amino acid, it's a hydrating ingredient. Serine is another ingredient with moisturizing properties and another amino acid. Valine has similar properties, but Proline is not only hydrating - it works the best on wrinkles.
Threonine and Isoleucine help with moisture and skin barrier. Histidine is an amino acid with soothing and moisturizing properties. It can be helpful with Candida infection. Phenylalanine is an amino acid. Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil) - is not an oil but a wax ester. It's an emollient and it is very similar to human sebum which makes it a great ingredient for the skin. Organic Avena Sativa (Oat) is a source of Vitamin B1, B2, B5 and beta-glucan. It's an antioxidant with soothing properties. Acne-prone skin and sensitive skin love this ingredient. Frankincense Essential Oil or Boswellia Carterii Oil has great anti-aging properties. Organic Rosa Canina (Rosehip Seed Oil) is an oil with antioxidant properties. It's great for mature skin, but also acne-prone skin. It brightens the skin, but it also works as an emollient.
Organic Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola Extract) is probably the most popular extract in skincare. It comes under a few names - Asiatic pennywort, tiger grass or Gotu kola. Centella Asiatica's roots are in Ayurveda. This extract is successful for a reason - it's a source of triterpene saponins - madecassoside and asiaticoside. Centella Asiatica Extract has anti-inflammatory properties. It speeds up the wound healing process. You can use it to treat acne since it has soothing and antibacterial properties. It boosts fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin or even help with hyaluronic acid synthesis. Centella is recommended for rosacea and cellulitis since it helps with blood microcirculation. In haircare, Centella can help with hair growth.
Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail Plant Extract) has anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion Extract) is an anti-inflammatory moisturizer. Hydroxyethyl Cellulose is a thickener. Carrageenan Gum is a natural ingredient. It's a vegan-friendly alternative to gelatin. Brands are using Carrageenan as a thickener. Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate are preservatives. Ethylhexylglycerin is a preservative with subtle moisturizing and antimicrobial properties.
Paon Rose is another American brand, all the products are organic in a minimum of 95%. Paon Rose doesn't use synthetic scents and dyes. Hydrating Peptide Facial Mask is an interesting moisturizer with a huge amount of amino acids. If you're interested in this topic - peptides are longer chains made out of a few amino acids (smaller chains). Peptide creams are great for mature skin. The idea of mixing peptides with Centella Asiatica? Brilliant!

Ingredients: Aqua (Deionized Water), Kaolin Clay, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, C14-C22 Alkane, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Magnesium Aspartate, Glycerin, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Crocus Sativus Meristem (Saffron Stem Cell) Extract, Zinc Gluconate, Copper Gluconate, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Seed Oil, Tocopherols, Phenoxyethanol, Hexylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin. Geranium), Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin
Aqua (Deionized Water) hides in a cosmetic product under names such as Aqua or Eau. It's a solvent, but it's not your regular drinking water. Glycerin won't clog your skin or irritate it just the opposite - it protects your skin from irritation.
Cetearyl Alcohol is a fatty alcohol. Ceteareth-20 is an emulsifier. C14-22 Alkane is an emollient. Glyceryl Stearate is an ester of Glycerin and Stearic Acid. PEG-100 Stearate is an emulsifier. Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is a mineral that occurs in nature, but in skin care, you can also find synthetic forms of it. It's a thickener and absorbent since it's a type of clay. It makes the application of the product easier. Stearic Acid is an emollient that you can love or hate. The problem is that not every skin likes it - mine usually breaks out when you show it Stearic Acid.
Cetyl Alcohol is good alcohol and while writing that I reminded myself of an old joke about two drunk men drinking methanol and one said to the other one - we should drink faster, it's getting dark here - obviously, it's dark humour, because you are not supposed to drink methanol, so in this case, ethanol is also good alcohol. Cetyl alcohol is an oily emollient and emulsifier. It locks the water in your skin and prevents dehydration. Turmeric in products for acne skin is not a surprise for me, but what does Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract do in other products? Turmeric has wide use in traditional medicine - not only Ayurveda but Chinese Traditional Medicine. It's an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties, that's why it works so good on acne. It might help with pigmentation, but if you have post-acne inflammation, then using soothing ingredients and substances that speed up wound healing helps with the redness left after acne. Zinc Gluconate is a great ingredient for acne-prone skin, it fights acne and moderates sebum production. Copper Gluconate is a soothing ingredient.
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract is a source of Vitamin E. It's an excellent absorbent. Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract has anti-inflammatory properties. Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Seed Oil is a source of Vitamin C. Sea Buckthorn is a berry typical for Northern Europe and Asia. It speeds up the healing process of the skin.
Tocopherol is an antioxidant known as Vitamin E. It's an oil-soluble vitamin that fights free radicals, makes UVB protection and natural lipid barrier stronger. It's good to mix it with vitamin C for better effects. Oily skin might react with pore-clogging to vitamin E. It is not true that vitamin E works as a preservative or helps with scars. Phenoxyethanol is a preservative that we shouldn't be afraid of. There are strict norms for this substance in our beauty products. Hexylene Glycol is a water-soluble solvent and surfactant. It has emulsifying properties. Caprylyl Glycol is a moisturizer and an oily emollient. It leaves a delicate, protective film on your skin. But that's not all, Caprylyl Glycol is useful when you want to keep your product free from unfriendly stuff like microbes. Ethylhexylglycerin is a preservative with subtle moisturizing and antimicrobial properties. Xanthan Gum is a thickener and stabilizer which you can find in food and skincare.
Paon Rose made also Turmeric Facial Mask. Turmeric and Kaolin are great for acne-prone skin. I was surprised to see Sea Buckthorn Oil in this formula. The brand knows that acne usually comes with post-acne scars and there's no better way to fight acne with turmeric, clay and vitamin C.

Rosy Lana – Macadamia Moisturizer
Ingredients: Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Microfarmed Aloe Vera Leaf) Juice, Glycerin (Vegetable), Organic Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Extract, Organic Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Organic Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Organic Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Myristyl Myristate, Caprylic Capric Triglycerides (Organic Coconut Oil), Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Seed Cake, Organic Populus Tremuloides (Aspen) Bark Extract, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Organic Glyceryl Stearate, Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Extract, Organic Persea Americana (Avocado) Fruit Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia (Macadamia) Nut Oil, Hyaluronic Acid (Organic Plant Sources), Hydrolyzed Avena Sativa (Oat) Flour, Saccharum Officinarum (Organic Sugar Cane) Extract, Allantoin (Organic Comfrey Root), Organic Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limonum (Lemon) Extract, Camellia Japonica Oil, Aleurites Moluccana (Kukui) Nut Oil, Ribes Nigrum (Black Currant) Seed Oil, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Organic Squalane (Olive), Borago Officinalis Seed Oil, Rubus Idaeus (Red Raspberry) Seed Oil, Vitamin E (Mixed Tocotrienols)
Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Microfarmed Aloe Vera Leaf) Juice is a classic moisturizing ingredient with soothing properties. Some people might be allergic to aloe. My problem with aloe is that if you prepare aloe in a "wrong" way, it can sensitize the skin. Glycerin or Glycerol is a humectant. Its origin can be natural or synthetic - depending on the product. Cetearyl alcohol leaves a moisturizing film on the skin to prevent your skin from transepidermal water loss (TEWL). We use Cetearyl alcohol to create an emulsion. Organic Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate is an emulsifier. Myristyl Myristate is an emollient. Caprylic Capric Triglycerides (Organic Coconut Oil) is an emollient. It's a combination of coconut oil and glycerin that makes mild, gentle and delicate emollients. It thickens the formula, but it also makes skin feel smooth in touch. Organic Populus Tremuloides (Aspen) Bark Extract is a natural preservative. Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5) is a humectant. Every skin is different.
Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Extract - bilberry is an edible berry, it has a dark, from blue to a black colour and it's rich in anthocyanins. This makes them potential antioxidants. Organic Persea Americana (Avocado) Fruit Oil is an avocado oil - a source of oleic, palmitic and linoleic acid, Vitamin A, D, and Vitamin E. It's great for skin, hair and nails. Macadamia Ternifolia (Macadamia) Nut Oil is a source of oleic acid which makes it a great emollient for dry skin. This oil is very popular for hair care. Hyaluronic Acid (Organic Plant Sources) is an ingredient that everyone knows, and lately, European brands seem to be obsessed with it. Hyaluronic Acid is an ingredient that naturally occurs in our skin, and people usually think it's a wonderful moisturizer - the answer to dry skin. We have to remember that HA in skincare comes in a few different forms - a low molecule or high molecule, the smaller the molecule is, the easier is the penetration of the product. Usually, low molecule HA costs more, and you can barely even see the product with HA and information on the molecular weight of the Hyaluronic Acid. Some people might get reactions to HA - my skin gets dehydrated when I use HA serums, sometimes I have to deal with redness or even acne after using HA serums, but acne, redness, skin sensitivity, and other reactions to the skin are personal. One product can work for you, but it won't work for your friend - same with ingredients. Hydrolyzed Avena Sativa (Oat) Flour has exfoliating properties, but it can work as a thickener. Saccharum Officinarum (Organic Sugar Cane) Extract has moisturizing properties. Saccharum Officinarum is used to produce sugar and this species is typical for New Guinea. It has other properties which you might like, I know Sugar Cane mostly as a brightening ingredient.
Allantoin (Organic Comfrey Root) is a powerful ingredient in skincare, and I think we have all known it since the early days. My family didn't imagine my childhood without this cream. Allantoin derives from comfrey, and it has soothing properties, but it also speeds up the healing process, which makes it ideal for acne-prone skin and sensitive skin. Organic Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract is a source of Vitamin C with a lovely scent. It's also a weak exfoliant. Camellia Japonica Oil is an emollient. Aleurites Moluccana (Kukui) Nut Oil is an emollient with anti-inflammatory properties. It speeds up the wound healing process. Ribes Nigrum (Black Currant) Seed Oil is an emollient. Organic Squalane (Olive) is an ingredient that I believe everyone should enjoy. In nature, Squalane occurs in human sebum, and it protects the skin from dehydration. Sadly, with age, the amount of Squalane in sebum decreases. Usually, Squalane in your skincare products comes from olives or sugar cane. It's a light, stable oil with a single bond (squalENE has double bonds, and both these ingredients shouldn't be mistaken). It has no colour and scent. It's perfect for sensitive skin and dehydrated skin since it strengthens the lipid barrier. It speeds up the healing process, and it won't clog your skin. Borago Officinalis Seed Oil is a soothing emollient. Rubus Idaeus (Red Raspberry) Seed Oil is an emollient. Vitamin E (Mixed Tocotrienols) is an antioxidant.
Last, but not least Rosy Lana is a natural and organic skincare focused on sustainability and quality. It's another American brand that you should try. The packaging is so beautiful and unique, but the formula is even better! Centella, Ginkgo - which I love but I barely see a brand using it. Back in the days, every spring and summer Ginkgo was my choice for an ingredient to calm my skin after allergic reaction or sunburn. Green Tea is a great antioxidant, mixed with another antioxidant - Vitamin E.
