Are powder cleansers going to be trendy again? I have no idea, but as long as I'm not a big fan of too much exfoliation in a routine (especially if you use retinoids or chemical peels), enzyme peels have a special place on my shelf, including powder cleansers. I'm From Fig Enzyme Powder Cleanser is based on three enzymes - Ficin, Papain and Lipase. Usually, enzyme peels I had to deal with were based on Papain and Bromelanin. Ficin or Ficain enzyme is not a popular ingredient in skincare and I see more professional Polish skincare brands using it than foreign brands so it's interesting to see I'm From using this ingredient. It's an enzyme obtained from an American wild fig tree.
Enzyme peels are a great option for sensitive skin and rosacea, but remember that this one contains Mandelic Acid which might not work with every skin type.

Abib surprised me a lot with this Glutathiosome Dark Spot line. I see that the trend for brightening lately is TXA (Tranexamic Acid) but doesn't have strong research on the skin - this ingredient has more research in oral form as a treatment for heart diseases than skin. It might be helpful with melasma and dark spots, but it still needs more research. Glutathione shows up in skincare from time to time, it's an antioxidant which I like to use on dark spots in moderation, but I'm against glutathione injections or supplementation - if you choose supplementation please consult your doctor first since supplements can be good, but they can also be damaging.
Back to Abib Glutathiosome Dark Spot Serum, it's a combo of Centella, Glutathione and many other ingredients that are positive for skin barrier as well as pigmentation. It contains my favourite version of vitamin C (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) and I believe it might have good results on the skin. It's getting spot on my wishlist since for now it's not available anywhere unless you live in Korea, then you can find it at Olive Young.

If you're from the US then you already had a chance to try Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Watermelon Pop a bit earlier than customers from Europe (don't worry, Laneige released a new product on the US market too). I'm a big fan of Laneige Lip Sleeping Masks, although I feel like Laneige went too crazy with these new lip masks every season. I still have Apple Caramel or Berry Lemon sorbet in my stash plus a few more, but Watermelon? I told you, if you're from the US then Laneige just released a new product - Bouncy & Firm Eye Sleeping Mask. It's another Laneige sleeping mask for the eyes. Previously, Laneige had this mask with an applicator which many people loved but I hated it - I could only use samples because my eye area is not a fan of rollers that go into the product. I find them unsanitary and irritating for sensitive eye areas. The skin around the eyes is more prone to changes and using a product with an applicator and dipping it back and forth is just not good. I guess if this product gets released in Europe, I might get it but so far there's no release date outside the US. Somehow, new products from the Bouncy & Firm line are released in the US first and then in other parts of the world.

Amuse released a new series called Ceramic Skin. I'm aware that many people might be disappointed because it's available only in three shades. It's a long-lasting foundation with decent coverage. It's supposed to stay on the skin for 48 hours - I always say to people who don't believe that foundation (or any other product) is going to stay 48 hours, but it's stronger than your regular foundation. It's supposed to have a brightening effect so it shouldn't be surprising that you've got a choice of three shades 1 Porcelain, 1.5 Natural and 2 Healthy. This series is vegan-friendly. I'm not sure if I'll test it, I'm disappointed that we didn't get the global release of Bunny Tongue limited edition.

Foundation is not the only new product from Amuse. The brand released Ceramic Skin Sebum Powder available in two shades. It's a powder for acne-prone and oily skin. It smoothes the skin, covers the pores and brightens the skin. Although Jo Malone isn't an Asian brand, I feel like I need to mention this release. According to the brand, Orange Marmalade is a blend of warm woods and orange zest. This scent is inspired by Paddington™ Bear - the most British bear I've ever heard of. I have mixed feelings toward Jo Malone, I used to like this brand but lately, I go for Maison Margiela scents since they aren't that heavy or irritating. Still, Orange Marmalade is a scent I might look forward to.

I'm not a big fan of dry shampoos, but Aromatica hair formulas are so delicate that I might give this one a try. My main problem with dry shampoos is that they get everywhere since they are in spray form. Aromatica decided to use the applicator to make the application easier and less irritating. I was waiting for new releases from the Probio-Cica line since it's one of my favourite Skin1004 lines and I didn't expect to see another new sunscreens, especially from the Probio-Cica line. Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-cica Glow Sun Ampoule is another new sunscreen from the brand. Right now it costs $23.10.
