Olive Young has a global website that can be a bit tricky, but today I'm sharing with you my knowledge on how to order products from Olive Young, why it's worth it to download the Olive Young app, and how to save the most during Olive Week. What's Olive Young?
Olive Young is a South Korean retail chain focused on Health and Beauty. It has stores all over SK and, a few years ago, opened a global website. Olive Young has self-developed brands like Bioheal BOH or Bring Green, but you can buy from other Korean brands (and non-Korean brands if you’re visiting SK stores).
The first Olive Young store in Korea was opened in 1999. It is part of the CJ Group, a conglomerate with interests in various industries, including food, entertainment, and retail. Olive Young has over 1200 stores all around Korea. In 2012 Olive Young launched the skincare brand shingmulnara. In 2013 the first Olive Young overseas store was opened in Shanghai. The same year Olive Young introduced a new brand - Bioheal BOH. In 2015 the company added two other brands to its portfolio - WAKEMAKE and Round A'Round. The stores are designed to create a vibrant shopping experience they often incorporate modern aesthetics.
Olive Week
Each month Olive Young has an “Olive Week”, an event during which you can use coupons to save on a single item up to 80%. Coupon value is related to your Olive Membership Level.
During the event, you can get an Olive Kit (a huge set of samples), and there’s also a Reward Back Event for Gold Members.
Olive Young Membership
Olive Membership is a program for OY users. There are 5 levels: Baby Olive (new accounts), Pink Olive, Green Olive, Black and Gold Olive. Baby Olive (new) accounts get welcome coupons. Benefits at each level are different. It’s quite easy to level up, it all depends on how much you spend or how often you shop at OY.
Baby Olive - that's the status you get right after registering. Baby Olive accounts usually get some coupons for the first order. You also get an Olive Week coupon once a month.
Pink Olive - If you spend between $1-$119.99 or if you made 1 or 2 orders, you level up to Pink Olive. You get a -20% off membership coupon, your Olive Week Coupon is going to change. You also get an early access.

COUPONS
There are various coupons you can get on Olive Young. You can get coupons for reviews - $5 off. This coupon works only with purchases above 70$.
7 days before your birthday a birthday coupon is issued. Its value is $10 but you have to spend at least $100.
Turning on app notifications can also grant you another coupon for $15 with purchases over $120. For downloading an app you also get 5 points which you can use later.
You can download a coupon from your profile section or you can find it while shopping. NOTE: usually coupons work only in mobile apps, you need to download the Olive Young app from the App Store or Google Play Store. The coupon works on the most expensive item in your cart.
The value of Olive Week coupons depends on your Olive Membership tier. Baby Olives, Pink Olives and Green Olives get a -60% off coupon, this coupon works on a single item, usually the most expensive one. Black Olives get a -70% off coupon and Gold Olives get -80% off coupon. THIS COUPON WORKS ONLY IN THE APP! While shopping you can see information on how much will you pay for the most expensive product in the cart once the coupon is applied.
FREE SHIPPING
Who doesn't love Free Shipping? When you shop at Olive Young Global, you have to make sure that your cart total after all coupons and affiliate codes is worth over $60. Points are excluded from this amount.
If you’re living in the EU - OY prices are tax-free which means that once the parcel arrives, you have to pay tax to your local office.
POINTS
You can get free points for each review. 1 point = 1$, usually you use points right before paying for your order. So if your order value is $65, but you have 15 points on your account then your final sum to pay is $50 and you still get free shipping.
Each photo & video review gets you 0.30 points, and a text review gives you 0.15 points. I believe that you have 3 months to publish the review on the app, you can only review the products you've purchased.
Remember to fill out your beauty profile - you get 0.5 points for filling your beauty profile.

It contains 84 types of proteins, 16 different vitamins, 10 types of collagen, and 11 types of Hyaluronic Acid. AHC Ten Revolution Real Eye Cream for Face (Season 10) is based on HumaColl21 - a biomimetic vegan collagen. It's a very revolutionary product. I made a full review of it last year. This is the top-selling product in all Olive Young categories. It's something like essence - you have to remember that in Korea essence, serum and ampoule are usually the same segment of the product, there's no big difference between them, maybe a bit in concentration, but no one makes a problem if their routine has an essence but no serum or ampoule. You can layer this booster or mix it with Retinol, Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid or Snail Mucin. It's a lightweight but rich formula. If you are searching for hair treatments then growus is one of the most interesting K-beauty hair-focused brands. GrowUs is a professional cosmeceutical hair care brand from Korea. The brand name comes from the sentence ‘Growing us with the sea’, which means that GrowUs is focused on the sea and ocean. It's not a surprise why sea-derived ingredients take a huge part in GrowUs' products. I have low porosity hair and this product makes brushing them easier. This is a set of full-size reformulated treatments, I haven't tried this version, but I still believe that growus makes good hair products.

I tried this serum before rebranding and I love it. It's the mildest retinol you can find. Innisfree sold over 3M bottles of this product in just 2 years. 0.015% of retinol isn't impressive, but for sensitive skin, it's a great start. This set contains one full bottle (35ml), two smaller bottles (10ml each) and a 10ml sample of cream.

Even if fermented ingredients aren't that trending lately, this is still an awesome essence which I'm using currently. I met this product for the first time in 2019, and I still love it. This formula contains 93% fermented ingredients.
